Andrew Bagnall MSc, BN(Hons), Dip HE Palliative Care, RGN Palliative Care – Lecturer Practitioner. Andrew qualified from The Guy’s and Lewisham School of Nursing, London in 1993 and has worked in various Hospice settings including Sir Michael Sobell House and Compton Hospice since 1994. He has a keen interest in symptom management and effective multi-professional team work

Allie Fellows Lecturer Practitioner PG Dip Ed, (BSc (Hons), Dip.Couns. A counsellor, supervisor and trainer in palliative care for the last 10 years Allie is particularly interested in how enhanced communication skills can be used to address issues of risk and exclusion for patients and carers.

Dodie Graves MA (Counselling), ThM (Theology), PG Cert in Counselling Supervision. Prior to joining Compton Hospice as the Bereavement Services Co-ordinator, Dodie taught in a variety of settings. In the last 15 years she has counselled, supervised & trained in the private, voluntary sectors and within the NHS.

Jan McLachlan. Physiotherapist. MCSP, SRP, MSocSci, MA. Jan’s Masters degree is in Medical Ethics and Law and she has a particular interest in practical, day to day application of ethical principles. She has worked as a physiotherapist in a variety of settings including elderly and palliative care.

Annie Millington

Annie Millington BSc (Hons) SRN Dip HE (District Nursing) Independent Supp Nurse Prescriber CPT Lecturer/Practitioner. Annie has 25 years experience as a trained nurse. She has worked within various specialities including haematology, cardiac and district nursing. She has worked as a clinical nurse specialist in palliative care both in primary and secondary care.

Rachel Stanworth

Rachel Stanworth

Dr Rachel Stanworth PhD, MSc BA (Hons) RGN PGCE (Distinction) CMS Rachel’s background lies in nursing and teaching with six years working as a senior manager for a national disability voluntary organisation. Her PhD research was based at St Christopher’s Hospice, London where she explored the spiritual needs of patients. Rachel’s findings were published in 2004 by the Oxford University Press, ‘Recognising Spiritual Needs in People Who are Dying’ and awarded the 2005 Open Book Award by the Association of Medical Journalists.

Jane Wigg

Jane Wigg

Jane Wigg RGN, PG cert – Clinical Nurse Manager in Lymphoedema. Jane has been working & developing Lymphoedema services since 1994 and came to Compton Hospice in 1997 to set up and manage the Wolverhampton Lymphoedema Service. She is authorised co-ordinator and tutor for Medical Lymphatic Drainage Training – method Leduc in the UK.
